- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆At first was excited to work with this company. Our app went through....took two weeks to be asked for further documentation. Was told we might be preapproved and that the automated underwriting program used didn't see any problems but that wasn't guaranteed an approval. The loan officer sent paperwork via email. I called to let her know the names were spelled wrong on the documents she sent us, sent in the documents hoping it was just a simple fix. Still haven't heard back. Was told we'd know if we were approved within a day after sending in all paperwork...went with another company and knew within 3 days that we were approved (without having to turn in all of our documentation and the names were spelled correctly and the guy called us back/texted us back within an hour or two if we had questions).By Amy Strand, August 25, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I have a very nice Loan Officer that has tried her hardest to help with my FIRST HOME PURCHASE, however I have an issue with the appraisal companies that are being used by them. I have had two homes now that I have paid for inspections and both homes appraised lower than the agreed upon selling price. So far I have had a home inspection done on both homes, a termite inspection done on the second home, and three appraisals because the seller contested the first appraisal for the first home. So you can imagine how frustrated I am that I have spent all this money and I still do not have a home. My apartment was broken into which led me to move into my parents home. I feel violated from that and stressed out because of this home buying experience. To add fuel to the fire, I have spoken to three other lenders and all of them say they have had borrowers turn to them after being burned by C.U. mortgages and the appraisers being used are not on any of their approved lists. Really considering changing lenders and starting the whole process over again. I can not keep going down this road.By Erin Patrick, July 23, 2017
